The Mount prison in Bovingdon is a Category C male prison
Riot officers have been called to deal with a “serious disturbance” at a prison.
Reports suggest that one section of The Mount prison, in Bovingdon, has been overcome by rioting inmates.
A Ministry of Justice spokesperson said: "The prison is completely secure and there is no risk to the public."
