An array of foods from around the world will be available to try in a brand new market launching this Friday.
The Harpenden Street Food Social will launch on Friday, organised by E&M Catering along with Harpenden Town Council.
Emilio Almaaz of E&M Catering has been keen to bring a fun filled foodie event to the town, with an array of cuisine from around the world.
Many residents of the community may already know chef Emilio for his falafel and his lamb kofta gourmet burger sold from a van (pictured).
The Harpenden Street Food Social will bring his menu to the gathering, along with a wide selection of other Chefs offering their cooking talents.
Food offering will include:
Emilio’s – Mediterranean food
Smoke Shack – brisket of beef, pulled meats
Rustics – stone baked pizza
La Crepe Franglaise Maria – French Creperie
Bistro Gautier – French paella and potatoes
The Swig and Filly – specialist gin
E&M Bar – Prosecco, beers, lager cider, Pimms
Visitors to the social can quench their thirst with a locally brewed beer and cider, or indulge in a chilled glass of Prosecco from the licensed bar. Harpenden’s Sound Matters will be DJing at the social, offering an assortment of music from all genres.
The exciting and fun event will be held on Harpenden Common from 4pm to 9 pm on Friday, August 18.
