A campaign to raise awareness to end modern slavery is taking place this morning.

Officers from Hertfordshire Police and Hertsmere Borough Council will be raising awareness of the issue in Bushey High Street between 11am and 2pm.

The members of the Community Safety Partnership will be meeting near ST James’ Church to answer questions on modern slavery and human trafficking, and to teach people how to spot the signs.

To report concerns call the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
