Teenagers anxiously waiting on exam results which may impact the results which their lives take.

GCSE results will come out on Thursday, August 24 but regardless of their results, students can be assured that they will be supported in through their future employment, training or further education.

Although school ends after students have taken GCSEs at the end of Year 11, young people are obliged to continue learning until they are 18. This can either be at school, college, via an apprenticeship or in part-time education while self-employed or volunteering.

Hertfordshire County Council’s YC Hertfordshire service has lots of advice and information for students looking at their next step either online, at the One Stop Shops located across the county.

Youth Connexions can help teenagers search for apprenticeships, further education courses and jobs on through their service.
