A big event to mark the end of summer is coming to the Watford.
The Big Sports Day will return to The Parade in Watford on September 9, bringing with it a whole host of sporting activities for the community.
Run by Watford Borough Council, the free event will be packed with sports including tennis, bungee trampolining, top golf, wall climbing and a penalty shoot-out, as well as fitness specialists coming down to meet the public and talk health.
Cllr Karen Collett, who leads on community for the council, said: "The Big Sports Day is a fun day out for everyone in Watford.
"There are lots for fantastic activities on the day for all ages and abilities as well as lots of tips on how to be active and healthy."
Cllr Collett also praised the event for being a great way to bring people together and showcase Watford's town centre.
The Big Sports Day kicks off on September 9 from 11am.
