Officers investigating an incident of sexual assault on a woman in Watford are appealing for information and witnesses.

At around 6.25pm on Monday, August 21, the victim - a woman aged in her 20s – was walking along Rickmansworth Road, towards the junction with Cassiobury Park Avenue, when she was approached by a man. As he walked past her he touched her inappropriately.

The offender is described as a tanned man, aged between 20 and 25 years old, around 5ft 7in tall and of skinny build with long black curly hair. He was wearing a dark blue jacket made of lightweight material.

Detective Constable Julie Vint, who is investigating, said: “I am appealing for anyone who saw the incident, believes they saw the offender in the area around the time stated or thinks they may be able to help us to identify the man, to get in touch with me.”
