Emergency services arrived en masse to attend to a casualty.

Police from Hertfordshire Constabulary were called to Heath Lodge in High Road, Bushey Heath at 8.55am to help get into the flat.

The photo shows three police cars and an ambulance attending the property, gaining access via Windmill Lane.

Former councillor and Bushey resident Leslie Winters said: “They were flying around like mad.”

Herts Fire and Rescue were also called to attend at 10.am to assist the police and ambulance.

The East of England Ambulance Service were contacted at 10.15am and two cars were sent to attend to the patient.

The patient is said to be a woman who was given treatment at the scene before being taken to Watford General Hospital.
