A vintage tea party was held for clients, families and carers at a senior care service in Watford.

Home Instead, Greenhill Crescent, held the event as a means for local elderly residents to socialise and meet the team they speak to on a regular basis.

The event, which took place on Sunday 3 at The Royal British Legion in Bushey Mill Lane, was deemed a great success.

Peter and Alexis Neighbour, co-directors of Home Instead, said: “We were so pleased to see so many clients, their families and team coming along to enjoy the vintage tea party.

“Everyone had a great time, enjoyed good food, conversation and a cup of tea.

“Many of the elderly in our community rarely get the opportunity to socialise and that is why events like this are so important.”

Home Instead provides care to local residents in Watford, Bushey, Carpenders Park, Oxhey, Rickmansworth, Croxley Green, Northwood and Stanmore.

Their services help the elderly in the community remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible.
