Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a burglary in Abbots Langley.

The incident took place between 6pm and 9.05pm on Monday, September 11, at a property in Langley Lane.

The thief gained entry to the house by smashing a patio door and whilst inside stole car keys, a ring, a watch and a quantity of cash.

Detective Constable Paul Burton, who is investigating, said: β€œI am appealing for witnesses who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated to get in touch.

β€œIn particular, I am appealing to anybody who might have been waiting at the bus stop on Langley Lane during this time. Did you see anything suspicious?”
