Reports of a man wielding a sword led to the discovery of an ornamental weapon after a police search.
Hertfordshire Constabulary were called to Delta Gain in Carpenders Park at 3.49pm on Friday following reports that a man had been seen wielding a weapon, which witnesses believed to be a sword.
After a search of the area, officers discovered an old, rusty sword in a sheath, which they believe may have been ornamental.
Enquiries are ongoing and if anyone has information, contact the police on 101 quoting ISE 509 of September 15.
