Adrian Mariappa has another three points in his sights at West Bromwich Albion this weekend as Watford eye up continuing their record-breaking run of away wins.

The Hornets have never won three top-flight games in succession on the road before this season, but a blistering start to the campaign away from home has put them sixth in the early Premier League standings and cast the eyes of the media upon them.

Marco Silva's men are now facing a tough run of fixtures, travelling to the relative fortresses of The Hawthorns and Stamford Bridge, as well as hosting Arsenal in the next three games.

Watford are very much in credit and can go to the West Midlands confident on the back of their bright start, without the need to worry about where their next points might come from.

That said, Mariappa feels there is no reason why the Hornets can't end West Brom's unbeaten home start, but doesn't want to think too far beyond that just yet.

He said: "With how the Premier League is, you never know where you’ll get your points from. We take it game by game, we’ve got a big game next week at West Brom and we know that’ll be tough, but we’re going in there full of confidence and see what happens to try to get three points.

"It’s early days in the league, we want to take it game by game - and we're a side who’s been in the league for a good few years. We want to push on from where we finished in previous seasons, and we’re in good form at the moment and we want to concentrate on doing that every game.

"There’s a lot of confidence in this group and we’re just trying to take it game by game."
