Crowds were undeterred by overcast weather as they took part in a park’s 10k fun run to raise money for a cancer charity.
The 16th Moor Park Fun Run was held at Merchant Taylors’ School, in Sandy Lodge, Northwood, on Sunday, October 1.
Despite the gloomy skies, runners began their route by lapping around the school playing fields before heading out into the Moor Park Estate.
They crossed Rickmansworth and Moor Park Golf Courses before heading back through the estate to the school grounds for a “triumphal” lap of the playing fields.
Since 2002, more than 19,000 pairs of feet have taken part in the run to raise more than £600,000 people affected by cancer.
