Nursery children found that the bear necessities came to them as they learned about the animal kingdom.

Boys and Girls Nurseries were visited by animal handling company Zoolab for World Animal Day.

The animals were taken to the Rickmansworth and Croxley Green locations on Wednesday and the Watford and Stanmore yesterday.

Kids were taught about the eating and sleeping habits of a whole host of animals from snakes to millipedes and a very popular bearded dragon.

Nursery director Natasha Kirby said: “Learning through hands-on activities are perfect for children, it brings any topic to life.

“Our Pre-Schoolers had a fabulous morning and we would like to thank Zoolab for their amazing sessions.”
