Runners are gearing up for a “fun-filled” Santa Dash run at a park during the festive period to raise money for a disability charity.
The event will return to Cassiobury Park, in Watford, on Sunday, December 3, and will include a 1km run for all ages and abilities during the morning followed by a 5km Santa Dash for people aged above 11.
Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favourite Christmas character to help make it a “cracker of an event” – with prizes being awarded to the best dressed entries in each race as well as the fastest runners.
Proceeds from the Santa Dash will be used to help fund Watford Mencap’s children’s centre which supports families with a child or young person that has a learning disability.
Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden are sponsoring the Santa Dash and any runner raising more than £50 in sponsorship for Watford Mencap will be entered into a draw to win a family ticket to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London.
