It's time to get on your gladrags for a glittering ball to raise funds for young hospital patients.
On November 24 at the Hilton Hotel in Watford, a three course dinner and entertainment extravaganza is being held to raise funds to improve care for paediatric patients at Watford General Hospital.
The sixth annual event will have dinner followed by dancing, as well as a mobile lottery and dancing, with a dress code of "dress to impress".
The ball is being organised by the Starfish ward at the hospital, which is hoping to spend funds raised on a new echo machine, which is a cardiac scanner coster £38,000, TVs and a Christmas party for the children on the ward.
The new machine would allow patients to have their heart scans in the ward's more comfortable environment.
Tickets are £40 per head or available as a table of 10.
Contact Kerry Beasley or Madge Taylor on 01923 436693 to purchase a ticket or donate to the ward.
