A charity that distributes donated goods across the world was joined by a special helping hand last week.

The Mayor of Hertsmere Cllr Charles Goldstein visited Goods for Good warehouse in Bullhead Road, Borehamwood last Thursday to help them pack.

Cllr Goldstein was given a tour of the premises by the charity founder and CEO Rosalind Bluestone who has been running the organisation since 2014.

The mayor joined other volunteers to sort children’s and adults shoes before these and other goods are distributed to communities in need across the world.

Founder Rosalind Bluestone said, “I was thrilled to welcome Councilor Charles Goldstein to our packing session today.

Our volunteers were really excited to meet him. It's great that the community, together with volunteers from far and wide, support our charity.

We would love to hear from Borehamwood residents who would be interested in helping us in the future."
