Spamalot is coming to Watford Palace Theatre for the first time.

Lovingly ripped off from the hugely successful 1975 film, Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, Spamalot will be performed by Cassio Productions from November 7 to 11 at Watford Palace Theatre, 7.45pm each evening and with a matinee at 2.30pm on the Saturday.

Spamalot follows King Arthur, his squire Patsy and the Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their epic search for the Holy Grail. Featuring killer rabbits, flatulent Frenchmen and The Knights who say… Ni!, this musical will have you looking on the bright side of life!

Funnier than the Black Death and winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best New Musical, Spamalot was written by Monty Python legend Eric Idle and has a score featuring Monty Python favourites Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, Brave Sir Robin and We’re Knights of the Round Table.

It follows on from the award winning 2016 production of Legally Blonde by Cassio Productions.

Clare Gold will be directing, having directed the hugely successful productions of The Producers and Scrooge for Rickmansworth Players. Susana Tierney will be Musical Director, having brought Spamalot to St Albans Arena, and Italia Conti’s very own Owen Smith will be choreographing.
