Morrisons stores in Watford are offering a ten pence reduction on fuel costs for the next two weeks.
The supermarkets are cutting fuel prices by 10p, for customers who spend £50 in-store before Sunday, November 26.
Shoppers will then have until Sunday, December 3, to use the 'Black Five Days Fuel' voucher at the store.
For a vehicle with a 50-litre tank, this works out as a saving of £5.
The cut comes as fuel prices are forecast to rise by up to 8p per litre in the run up to Christmas, following a 30 per cent rise in the price of oil since the summer.
Fuel duty could also rise for the first time in seven years in the Government's Autumn Budget, which will be revealed by Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond on Wednesday.
Steve Mosey, Morrisons services director, said: “Motorists could face a triple-whammy of rising petrol prices, extra fuel tax and a busy Christmas shopping season so we’re doing what we can to help them afford to run their cars.”
