Two lanes are closed and there is slow traffic due to a crash on the M1.
The incident happened this morning at junction 5 Northwestern Avenue and Stephenson Way, Watford, and junction 6, Bricket Wood.
Two of three lanes are currently closed.
The third lane was reopened at 8.40am.
