A fire in a convenience store during the early hours of this morning is believed to have been started deliberately.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information after the incident occurred at the Co-op, in New Road, Croxley Green, at around 2.30am on Friday, December 8.
An accelerant was used to set the shop front alight, which caused damage to the doors, windows and the flooring inside.
Nobody was believed to be injured.
Detective Constable Steve Mason said: “This was an extremely dangerous act which could have caused serious injury.
“I am appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or who thinks they may know the identities of those responsible, to please get in touch.”
