A 34-year-old man has been charged with arson after a car crashed into the front of a shop.
The man, of no fixed address, will remain in custody and is set to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Friday, January 12.
Police were called to the Co-op in New Road, Croxley Green, at 5.06am on Sunday, December 10, to reports that a silver Vauxhall Zafira had been involved in an incident.
There was a small fire at the back of the vehicle, which was extinguished by the fire service.
No-one sustained any injuries.
