Please update Brett Ellis about Sir Tim Berners-Lee, who is credited with inventing the World Wide Web, not the internet. Social media apps like Facebook and Twitter depend on the internet to function, but they do not use the WWW. This is usually accessed with browsers (like Chrome, Internet Explorer). Sir Tim is innocent.
