Thieves stole jewellery during a burglary at a house.
Between 5.20pm and 6.15pm on Friday, February 16, thieves broke into a house in St Matthews Close, Watford and ransacked.
Jewellery – which held “sentimental value” to the victim - was taken and the thieves are believed to have left the scene in a grey vehicle.
Detective Constable Matt Cox, who is investigating, said: “The jewellery that was taken was sentimental to the victim. I am appealing for witnesses who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated to get in touch.
“Were you in in the area at the time? Did you see a grey vehicle there?
“Any information you have, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be vital to the investigation.”
