Sarratt Road is shut again this morning after ANOTHER burst water main.
The road was reopened yesterday after Affinity Water spent around a week trying to fix the leak.
But less than 12 hours after it was fixed, the main burst again, causing more traffic chaos.
It is the fourth time the pipe has burst in the space of just three weeks.
Affinity Water has confirmed the road will remain closed tonight.
#CroxleyGreen Sarratt Road is closed again today ⛔️ We are fixing a burst main here again again and I'll keep you updated on the fix and when the road can reopen. Sorry again for the disruption to traffic in the area. Thanks, Tim pic.twitter.com/FUHgo1lRD8

Sarratt Road is shut between Redhall Lane and Loudwater Lane.
Drivers are being advised to carry round on the M25 to Junction 18, or travel down Hempstead Road from the A41 towards Watford Town Centre.
Jon Gray, the headteacher of York House School, urged parents and children not to walk through the area.
So @SchoolYorkHouse parents there is currently no access down Sarratt Road from Croxley Green. Sadly, you know the drill from the Redhall Lane end - it says road closed but you can drive round that and access from the Sarratt side. We share your irritation. Jon

Oh dear, thanks for the update, no doubt it’ll be sorted soon. Any chance we could get some “Road Closed” signs for Sarratt Lane to try and dissuade people from using it?
