Hits on the night will include Needles and Pins, Out Of Time, I’m Into Something Good, Storm In A Tea Cup, Bend Me Shape Me plus many more.
Dr John Cooper Clarke
After first shooting to prominence in the 1970’s as the original ‘people’s poet’, John Cooper Clarke will come to the The Alban Arena on Saturday, March 24 at 8pm.
His influence can be heard within the keen social observations of artists such as the Arctic Monkeys and Plan B, and these collaborations mean that John has been involved in two global number one albums in the last two years – with The Arctic Monkeys putting one of John’s best loved poems, I Wanna Be Yours, to music on their A:M Album.
His latest show, touring across the UK and Europe this year, promises a mix of classic verse, extraordinary new material, hilarious ponderings on modern life, good honest gags and riffs.
