People are being warned to ensure they have enough medicine to see them through the Easter period.
GP practices will close from the evening of Thursday, March 29 and will not open until the morning of Tuesday April 3.
As a result, people needing new supplies will need to collect them before Good Friday.
Dr Clair Moring at NHS Herts Valleys CCG said: “It’s really important that patients take the medicines prescribed for them.
“If for some reason you are not taking a medicine that has been prescribed, tell a GP, pharmacist or nurse, because it could be having a serious impact on your health.”
