This sign has appeared in Watford high street
A bizarre sign advertising a 'designated mugging zone' has appeared in a town centre.
A passer-by snapped the sign, which has been placed in Watford high street.
It has cropped up under under the A411 ring road flyover in between Poundworld and McDonalds.
The sign recommends that the area is now supposedly a "designated mugging area" complete with an image of a hooded person seemingly taking the bag from an elderly person.
The sign has since been removed.

Watford Borough Council has been approached and it is looking into how the sign may have got there.
