A father in his seventies will run two marathons in just over two weeks in aid of his daughter and the MS Society.

Donald Graham, from Chorleywood, will take on the London Marathon next month and the Belfast Marathon at the beginning of May.

His daughter Lee-Ann Tinkler, 42, was diagnosed with relapsing and remitting multiple sclerosis in 2012 and now faces challenges everyday, including fatigue, pain, and sight issues.

Her father Donald has described Lee-Ann as "amazingly brave" and says that every time he feels like "quitting" during a marathon he remembers the bigger challenges his daughter faces. He has previously run around 20 to 30 marathons.

Lee-Ann's sister, Nicola, and her family are also hosting a fundraiser for the MS Society in April.

It is being held at the Black Horse pub in Dog Kennel Lane, Chorleywood on April 14 at 2pm.
