People are being warned to avoid the high street this afternoon while emergency services tackle a fire at a Turkish restaurant.
Fire crews were called to Woody Grill, in Watford High Street, this morning.
Hertfordshire Fire Control has since tweeted that the area should be steered clear of while the blaze is being dealt with.
Watford Football fans on their way to the game against Crystal Palace today have tweeted traffic delays are to be expected.
The 306 buses have also suspended services in the lower high street and diversions have been put in place.
Commuters needing to travel to Borehamwood are advised to go to the stop just past the Tesco store opposite Local Board Road.
It is not yet known if anyone has sustained any injuries or what caused the fire.
