A man has thanked a funeral directors for conducting a “wonderful” service for his wife.

Pamela Toll, from Watford, died on April 4 following a battle with cancer.

Her husband Mike Toll has since praised M.K Ginder and Sons in Watford for arranging her funeral.

Mr Toll said: “All of my family would like to thank everyone who sent cards of sympathy and condolences over Pam’s death.

“It is very comforting to think that she has so many friends.

“With special thanks to John Graham who conducted such a wonderful service. Also to MK Ginder funeral arrangers who were first class.”

Pamela was described by her husband as a “wonderful wife and mother”.

The 79-year-old grew up in Watford and worked in print and then the HSN Maternity department at Watford General Hospital before meeting Mike, who was in the army and undertook national service.

The pair were married for 58 years and brought up three children, Alan, Mandy and oldest child Susan, who died of cancer four years ago.

They also welcomed three granddaughters and two great grandsons into the family.
