The leader of the Labour party has called for the Met Line Extension to still go ahead.
Jeremy Corbyn visited the Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, in Kings Close, Watford, on Monday.
He was there to show his support for Jagtar Singh-Dhindsa, the Labour candidate in the mayoral elections next week.

However, he also touched on issues currently affecting Watford such as the Met Line Extension being halted and affordable housing.
Mr Corbyn believed plans for the extension should not be stopped by Mayor of London Sadiq Khan as they have been “long in the making”.
He said: “The Met Line Extension is important because people need to be able to travel from Watford into London and it is something that is long in the making so I do support that.
“I fully understand that, as well as the necessity of making sure there is a very good and efficient train service between Watford and Euston, which there is at the moment.”
He also said that more affordable homes should be built with added nurseries and doctor’s surgeries to cope with extra people.
Mr Corbyn said: “If you are building more houses, you have to build communities. You cannot just build houses and not nurseries or doctor’s surgeries.
“One of our aims is to build a million genuinely affordable homes over 10 years, the majority for social rent.”
Last week Sadiq Kahn vowed to keep the Metropolitan Line Extension project on track – if more money is coughed up.
He said: "TfL has not abandoned the scheme. If an alternative funding package could be agreed TfL remains willing to deliver the scheme.”
Cllr Singh-Dhindsa is taking on Lib Dem candidate and current deputy mayor Peter Taylor as well as Conservative candidate George Jabbour on May 3.
