The MP for Watford is “pleased” stalls at a job fair this year are filling up fast.

Last month Richard Harrington announced that the next Watford Jobs Fair will be on Thursday, September 13 at the Langley Banqueting Suites, in Watford High Street, between 10am-4pm.

Since then, over thirty local companies have been in touch, interested in hosting a stall at the fair in a bid to look for new staff.

Some of the companies include John Lewis, Medtronic, Hilton, Toad Hall Nursery, Ricochet Media, McGinley and the Royal Mencap Society.

Mr Harrington said: “I’m pleased that there’s already been a lot of interest in the Watford Jobs Fair.

“This is an annual event which gets great feedback every year, and so I’m not surprised that the stalls are filling up fast.”

This year will mark the seventh fair he has held.

More than 4,000 people came to the last fair to look for a new job, change careers or get their foot on the career ladder.
