Entrepreneurs have been inducted into a hall of fame.
Vivek Chadha, from Watford, has been named as young entrepreneur of the year following a ceremony at the Dorchester hotel in London.
Mr Chadha has been inducted into the British Travel and Hospitality Hall of Fame, joining the likes of Richard Branson and Michel and Albert Roux.
Mr Chadha currently operates 18 hotels under his company Nine Hotel Group, based in Clarendon Road, Watford.
Tim Martin, founder of JD Wetherspoon, which has its headquarters are in Watford, was also inducted into the hall of fame.
Following his recognition, Mr Chadha said: “It’s an honour to be inducted into The British Travel and Hospitality Hall of Fame alongside my peers in the industry.
"I feel a true sense of pride in joining such an established roster of renowned names and it’s a personal career highlight for me to be awarded as young entrepreneur of the year for hospitality.”
