Now that the fantasy of the Royal Wedding is over might it be somewhat appropriate to hold a wake at the coming death of our relationship with our European partners?
The event cortege will be led by the so elegantly evocative Jacob Rees-Mogg, Eton-educated along with his coiffured conspirator Boris Johnson, one-time member of the elite Bullingdon club. Other notable consorting members of such a debacle are of course Iain Duncan Smith, Michael Gove and Liam Fox. Nigel Farage, now reduced to a frequent commentator on Fox News in America, will be around to oil the wheels of the impending catastrophe.
For those unhappy with such an entrapment might wish to join the pro-European March on June 23 in London. I for one will be there. The thought of being governed by such manipulative and some would say untruthful people (remembering the Brexit bus) are not something I and many others could countenance.
