Former pupils of Kings Langley School are being invited to a reunion to celebrate 50 years of education at the school’s outdoor education centre in Wales.
More than 10,000 young people, both from the school and other schools and colleges, have visited the centre, near Brecon, over the decades and learned skills including outdoor survival, navigation, kayaking and climbing while studying subjects including geology, forestry and agricultural science.
The reunion will take place at the school, on Love Lane, Kings Langley, on June 30, between 3pm and 9pm and will include a hog roast, bar, tours of the new school building, rolling memorabilia slide and film shows. There'll also be a tombola and a grand draw with prizes including a free holiday at the centre.
Organisers say hundreds of former students have said they will attend and that the event will be “massive.”
