A magical lantern-lit night walk will take place to raise money for a charity helping those with life-limiting illnesses.
For the second time, the Peace Hospice Care NightLight Walk will happen in Cassiobury Park in Watford, on July 7.
Funds raised during the 5k nocturnal trek will be donated to the hospice which provides palliative care to terminally ill people. The target this year is £60,000.
The walk is suitable for all ages and everyone who takes part will be given a NightLight lantern which may be personally dedicated to a loved one and carried along the route.
At the end of the walk, lanterns will then be placed into a display creating a glowing night time sculpture.
Drinks, rides and other entertainments will also be available from 5.30pm. The NightLight Walk will begin at 8pm.
The event is supported by Smith & Nephew, a multinational medical equipment manufacturing company.
