A community choir will mark its tenth anniversary by hosting a concert showcasing songs and a commemorative film.
The South Oxhey Choir will hold its 10th Anniversary Gala Event at St Matthews Church on St Matthews Close in Watford, on July 7.
The choir, which formed in 2008 when choirmaster and TV personality Gareth Malone brought the TV cameras to South Oxhey, is still going strong ten years later under musical director, Simon Wookey.
To mark the choir’s success and long life, the Gala Event will include a drinks reception and “hot fork buffet”, a screening of the choir’s new film, “Thank you for the Music” and a performance of the choir’s greatest hits from the last ten years, both popular and classical.
