Children created their own tropical environment to bring in the summer.
Year 3 at Lanchester Community School, in Hempstead Road, Watford, put their learning into practice after studying a topic on the rainforest.
The outcome is the lovely leaves and flowers in the photographs provided, which created their very own rainforest in the entrance hall of the school.
Various staff members and their families came in out of school hours to help create the rainforest and make it as fun and vibrant as possible.
John Dibdin, principal, said: βIt was lovely to see our Lanchester pupils and staff working together to create our very own rainforest.
"As you can imagine, all the children were really excited to see this in our school entrance to welcome in the summer term.β
