Thousands of children hope to break the world record for the biggest ever simultaneous singing performance.
Stagecoach Performing Arts schools around the world last night attempted to set a new Guinness World Record with more than 12,500 children involved across the UK, Germany, Canada and Malta.
The Watford Colosseum in Rickmansworth Road, Watford, was chosen as one of the three main ‘hubs’ across the UK.
The Colosseum hosted 210 children working together to break the world record.
Officials will verify in the coming weeks if the performances broke the record.
If Stagecoach wins it will have broken its own record it set a decade ago.
Stagecoach chief executive Sarah Kelly said: “As we continue to reach new heights and successes it’s only fitting that we smashed our own Guinness World Record from ten years ago.”
