A charity football match with “something for everyone” is set to happen this month to raise awareness of an organisation helping bereaved parents.

On July 29 a Family Fun Day offering entertainments for all will take place at Kings Langley Football Club on Hempstead Road in support of Sands.

The Sands (stillbirth and neonatal death) charity works to support and improve care for anyone affected by the death of a baby including bereaved parents.

Kings Langley FC have offered to host the 15-a-side charity event and guests can expect a full range of refreshments from a food vendor and coffee van, to a bouncy castle for the kids and a visit from police and the London Fire Brigade.

There will also be an auction and raffle prize with proceeds going to the Sands charity.
