The first flats in a major redevelopment project will soon go on sale.

The Woodlands flats are part of the Riverwell scheme — formerly known as the health campus — a partnership between Watford Borough Council and Kier Property to develop a large area of land to the south of Watford Hospital and Watford Football Club.

Woodlands will comprise 95 contemporary one, two and three-bedroom flats across three blocks, with an on-site marketing suite due to open on Saturday.

Watford Riverwell is the largest redevelopment project in Watford and will see 1,000 much-needed new homes built in disused land close to Watford General Hospital.

The Woodlands scheme will include 29 affordable homes among the 95 to be built, as well as a new two-form entry primary school, 4.5 acres of green community space, a retirement village with more than 250 beds, and shops.

House prices are expected to start from £280,000 with Help To Buy available.
