Two men were injured following a "disturbance" at a house yesterday evening. (Thursday)

Police were called at 7.30pm to Ridge Street, off St Albans Road, in Watford.

They received reports that a disturbance had broken out between a group of people.

Two were injured, including one man who was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police believe the people involved know each other.

A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Police were called at around 7.30pm on Thursday, July 19 to report a disturbance between a group of people at an address in Ridge Street, Watford. Two men were injured during the incident, one of whom was taken to hospital for treatment.

"Their injuries are not life-threatening.

"It is believed the parties were known to each other and investigations are continuing to establish the circumstances around what happened.
