Sixth form pupils achieved record-breaking results for the fourth year in a row.

Almost half of the students from Mount House, formally St Martha’s Catholic School for Girls in Camlet Way, Hadley Wood, received A*s or As.

The majority of students at 85 per cent scored results between an A* and C.

Craig McCormick, head of Sixth Form said: “I am incredibly proud of, and pleased at the results that our students have attained this year.

“This is what happens when students and teachers alike work hard and foster an innate love of their subject.”

Student Elli Taylor-Jukes got an A* and 2As and will be going to Birkbeck College, London, to read Classics.

Sayuri Asai attained 3 A*s and 2As and is offered a place to study Natural Sciences at UCL, London.

School deputy head girl, Layla Bradbeer, scored A* and 2As and will attend Central St Martins, London, to study Costume Design.

Science student Akika Ogasawara, who attained 3 A grades, won a scholarship worth £180,000 over six years to read Medicine at the University of Pécs in Hungary.

Principal Toby Mullins said: “These results are our best ever at Sixth Form level and is a testament to the increasing academic profile of the school.

“This reaffirms our place as being one of the best Sixth Forms in North London.”
