Students celebrated outstanding A-level results with several students achieving straight A*s and As.

Year 13 students at St Margaret’s School in Merry Hill Road, Bushey, received their A-Level results last week.

Many students will now go on to study Engineering, Economics, Biomedical and Biochemical Sciences, Politics, Computer Science and International Relations.

Headmistress, Rose Hardy said: “I am so proud of the results of all of our girls who have sat these very challenging exams and done so well.

“This enables them to take the next step on their educational journey.”

Head of Sixth Form, Charlotte Harrison said: “This series of results is a testimony to how far the cohort has come since GCSEs, and I would like to thank the expertise and hard work of the staff for helping the majority of the year group secure Russell Group and firm choice university places.”

The school’s students received 100 per cent A*- A grades in Art, Critical Thinking, Chinese and Physics

A total of 100 per cent A*- B grades in French, Further Mathematics, History, and Latin.

A further 70 per cent of all Year 13 girls achieved A*- B grades.
