A popular Rickmansworth bakery has scooped another two prestigious industry awards.

Cinnamon Square, in Church Street, opened just two years ago but beat off competition from some of the biggest names in the business to win the awards at a London ceremony last week.

Husband and wife team Paul and Tricia Barker received one British Baking Industry award for skills, achievement, training and development and another for marketing.

Judges were impressed by their brand development and signature product, the US inspired, award winning, Cinnamon Square.

Mrs Barker said: "When we opened we put a lot of faith in our cinnamon squares. Cinnamon is only really popular in the US but we were confident ours were better than anything out there.

"What is really satisfying for us is that when people try them they don't just say this is nice,' they say this is amazing' and keep coming back for more.

"Winning these awards is recognition for our hard work and dedication."

I love Cinnamon Square and their cinnamon squares. It's one of the things I miss most about Ricky. Do they deliver?
