A body found by police more than three months ago is that of Mary Rickard a coroner confirmed today (Friday).
Mrs Rickard, known as Tina, went missing from her home in Fearnley Street, Watford, on the afternoon of Friday, June 29, when she went to visit friends.
The following day, Sussex police found a body on the shoreline of a beach in Ovingdean, near Brighton.
However, it then took officers almost 14 weeks to identify the body as Mrs Rickard's.
Police aren't treating the matter as suspitious.
