A new "drop in" forum for north Watford residents gets starts on Saturday when councillors will be on hand to listen and respond to local concerns.
The first forum will be held on Saturday at Elim Church Hall, in Leavesden Road, and will start at 10.30am, when residents can to pop in and chat with councillors.
A general meeting will then begin at 11.30am when speeding traffic in Regent Street, Cecil Street, Judge Street and Leavesden Road will be addressed.
A member of Herts Highways staff will also be in attendance to discuss work to be carried out by Three Valleys Water in Bradshaw Road and nearby streets.
All three local councillors, Ken Brodhurst, Steve Rackett and Georgina Tara Mann, who are all from the Green Party, will be present.
Councillor Brodhurst said: "We are always looking at alternative ways of talking to residents.
"Traditionally, meetings have been organised during the evenings, but some people have said that making evening meetings are difficult, so we are giving Saturday mornings a try."
