"The best way to learn is to teach. If you can't explain something thoroughly to someone else, you don't know it. Learn a topic and then go through it with a friend who has studied the same topic.
"Choose a revision buddie who may be good at different subjects from you, so that you can learn from each other's strengths. If you can't find a co-operative friend, explain the topic out loud to an imaginary friend, or even a tame parent."
