Has your little angel or shepherd featured in a school nativity this year? Have they tucked into their Christmas dinner yet? Or been busy making decorations in the classroom?

Don’t miss tomorrow’s Watford Observer to see if they feature in our bumper 16-page Christmas in the Classroom picture supplement.

The pandemic means Christmas celebrations have again been disrupted for children at school this year, although teachers have been doing their best to make the build-up to the festive period as enjoyable as possible for their classes.

Thanks to the efforts of school staff, we are able to show what children at 13 schools in the area have been doing in their classrooms during their festive lessons or performing in concerts and nativity plays The 13 schools featuring in Christmas in the Classroom are:

  • Cherry Tree Primary School
  • Chorleywood Primary School
  • The Hemel Hempstead School
  • Lanchester Community Free School
  • Little Reddings Primary School
  • Longwood School and Nursery
  • Oxhey Wood Primary School
  • Park Street CofE Primary School
  • Sarratt Church of England School
  • St Josephs RC Primary School
  • St Mary’s CofE Primary School
  • Stanborough Secondary School
  • Watford St John’s CofE Primary School

If you have a child, relative or friend at any of these schools, make sure you pick up your copy of Christmas in the Classroom in this week’s Watford Observer, on sale from tomorrow.
