Cats Protection's Three Rivers and Watford Branch has launched an appeal this morning for people to lend a hand to help give local stray and unwanted cats a second chance in life.
Phil Mansbridge, Regional Development Manager, said: "There are two ways you can help.
"We have plenty of cute loving cats desperately seeking caring new homes after a lonely Christmas and New Year, or you can get involved with the branch itself!
"We're currently on the lookout for a variety of volunteers, including Cat Carers - people who look after the cats whilst the branch finds them a new loving home, a Web Editor, and a branch Photographer - to take pictures of the cats in care and help us publicise them!
"There's also many other ways you can help if you have some time to spare!"
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for Cats Protection's Three Rivers Branch, then please email bsu@cats.org.uk or call 0808 0019 1919.
